Join us for a thrilling international music exposition, introducing four short, contrasting pieces from Sweden. Graeme Jennings, the ensemble’s newest member and former violinist with the Arditti Quartet, takes it to the point of combustion in Nordin’s Calm like a bomb. The Players shine in a luminous new work from Liza Lim, a rising star whose music was recently championed by the L.A. Philharmonic for the opening of its Walt Disney Concert Hall.
