In an evening of elegant new ensemble pieces best appreciated after dark, the Players premiere scintillating music from two promising young voices, Frenchman Bruno Mantovani and American Reynold Tharp. Also sparkling in this nocturnal affair are meteoric strains from David Felder and a mercurial trio for flute, harp, and viola by Martín Matalon.
